Why join an HCBA club?
Because our clubs are about the whole you—your personality, your passions, and your profession.
New this 2013-14 bar year, we are launching HCBA clubs -- fun opportunities for HCBA members to easily connect with each other around shared interests.
- For lawyers who are new to the Hennepin County region, HCBA clubs are a way to quickly gain connections and start making Minnesota feel like home.
- For more introverted members, HCBA clubs can be a comfortable alternative route to build and grow relationships.
- And for more extroverted members, clubs are another way to expand your network and recharge.
The HCBA clubs are for HCBA members -- a benefit of membership. Clubs are informal and volunteer-led, with website tools and light staff support provided by the HCBA. During this first pilot year, clubs have been encouraged to hold get-togethers at least three or four times during the year. HCBA members can join clubs at any time.
