Kim Lowe, 2015-16 HCBA President

Kimberly Lowe became the 97th president of the Hennepin County Bar Association on July 1. Lowe is a shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron where she chairs the firm’s Nonprofit Organizations practice group and co-chairs the Start-Up and Rapid Growth Enterprises practice group.  Read More >>

Seeking Nominations for 2016 Diversity Awards and Professionalism Awards

These annual awards highlight individuals and firms making a significant contribution to the profession and to the advancement of justice. Awards will be presented at the HCBA Annual Meeting on June 1. The awards panels welcome nominations for the following:

  • Diversity Awards:  Recognizing the substantial and long-term contributions of a legal employer, an attorney, and a non-attorney to the furtherance of diversity and inclusion, civil rights, civil liberties, or human rights in the legal profession.

  • Professionalism Awards:  Recognizing members of the bench and bar who best exemplify the pursuit of the practice of law as a profession, including a spirit of public service and promotion of the highest possible level of competence, integrity, and ethical conduct.
