Readership
and Circulation
The Hennepin Lawyer is the
membership publication of the Hennepin County Bar
Association, designed for the purpose of educating and
informing metro area lawyers about current issues and
concerns relating to their legal practice.
A recent membership survey reports that members once
again not only rate the association high on the quality
of its member communications (87%) but also rate the
publication as one of the two primary benefits of
membership.
Since 1933, The Hennepin Lawyer
has been a respected resource for up-to-date articles
about the legal profession and developments in the law,
particularly as they relate to practice in Hennepin
County. Readership includes attorneys, judges, law
office personnel and administrators. Advertising in
The Hennepin Lawyer will
bring a direct message to the people you want to reach,
allowing you to cost-effectively invest your advertising
dollars.
Minnesota lawyers are typically in their mid-thirties to
age fifty, with 63% between the ages of 30 and 60. Fully
half of all Minnesota’s attorney population live or work
in Hennepin County. Of the HCBA membership, 2/3 are male
and 1/3 female. Fifty-eight percent of members are in
law firms, while the rest work in Business, Government,
Non-profit and other settings. They are active both
professionally and personally; and many are the
decision-makers for law firm purchases as well as for
other
organizations they serve.
Each of the HCBA’s 8,000 attorney members receives the
publication every month except for August.
The Hennepin Lawyer is
published in two forms. It appears bi-monthly, on the
odd-numbered months, as a 36-page magazine with
four-color covers, which includes the 8-page
inside The Hennepin Lawyer.
In the even-numbered months it is published as the
20-page newsletter, inside The
Hennepin Lawyer.
