Minneapolis (9-25-08): -- Local lawyers and their bands will rock out to benefit local legal organizations on Friday, October 3. The annual Attractive Nuisance Tour is a rock concert to benefit the Hennepin County Bar Foundation and the Minnesota Justice Foundation. The concert will take place at the Fine Line Music Café, 318 First Ave. North, Minneapolis, MN. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and music starts at 5:30 p.m. Now in its sixth consecutive year, the Attractive Nuisance Tour is the brainchild of attorneys Greg Wiley and Craig Sandok who were seeking a creative way to give back to the community.
All bands participating in the concert include at least one lawyer. This year's show features Noisy Withdrawal, Sublevel 6, The Auctioneers, Rattle and Hum, Solomon Grundy's, 36Sunrise, Far From Falling, and The Tukes.
In five prior shows, over $182,000 has been raised and distributed to legal services providers. Again, the highlight of the evening will be when checks from the concerts proceeds are presented to representatives from the Minnesota Justice Foundation and the Hennepin County Bar Foundation. Both organizations are dedicated to ensuring justice is accessible to people from all income levels.
Tickets for the show are $20. VIP tickets are available for $60, and include preferred seating, appetizers and souvenir T-shirt. For tickets or additional information contact Joy Hamilton (joy@hcba.org), or visit www.AttractiveNuisanceTour.org
