Aaron F. Biber

 




 Aaron F. Biber  served as President of the Hennepin County Bar Association for the year 2000-2001. Service to the association includes: Professionalism Committee, 1989-1994; Governing Council, 1995-present; Co-Chairman, Civil Litigation Section, 1995-1998; Executive Committee, Bench and Bar Committee, 1997-present; and as Treasurer, 1998-1999. He also serves on the board of the Hennepin County Bar Foundation.

Mr. Biber graduated from the University of Iowa in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science with High Distinction and from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1987.

Following graduation, he practiced law in the antitrust and complex commercial case group of the litigation department of the Minneapolis law firm of Gray, Plant, Mooty, Mooty & Bennett. In 1989, he joined the law firm of Head, Seifert & Vander Weide in Minneapolis where he practiced for 10 years in the areas of insurance, securities, business and municipal litigation and arbitration.

Mr. Biber also serves on the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Board of Governors. He is an active member of the American Bar Association and is a graduate of its Bar Leadership Institute. Additionally, he serves as a board member to both business and nonprofit corporations, and charitable and religious social service organizations.

Mr. Biber is a frequent lecturer at seminars involving topics relating to insurance subrogation and complex litigation. Mr. Biber has been selected as a "Leading American Attorney" in the field of commercial litigation, included in "Who’s Who in American Law," and is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
