Candid Conversations: Preserving the Record for Appeal
It is common to read appellate decisions that decline to address issues because a party failed to properly raise or preserve the issues in the lower court. This CLE is designed to help trial lawyers avoid such a result. We have a panel of appellate practitioners, and judges who will discuss how to preserve the record at the trial court to allow for appellate review. Topics to be discussed include: making a record, post-trial motions and motions in limine.
After the one hour panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to mingle with judges and attendees at a reception graciously sponsored by Bassford Remele PA.
