Category: Ethics Social networking in the 21st century has firmly taken hold.  Far from just texting and twittering to friends and family, professionals are growing more and more reliant upon this new and ever expanding mode of mass communication to network, solicit business and provide services to clients.  Unfortunately, as in most any area, the rules and regulatory framework governing the practice of law lags a few steps behind innovation leaving many current and would-be users of such technology to proceed at their own peril.  This CLE will explore some of the most prevalent and unusual ethical pitfalls lawyers who engage in social networking as part of their practice may face and will offer practical tips on how to stay compliant with the current rules while at the same time utilizing available technology to efficiently and effectively represent clients and build their practices.

Speakers:

  • Chris Grgurich
  • David Sasseville
