It may seem to civil litigators that civil and criminal cases are worlds apart.  As different as the cases are, the criminal justice system greatly influences the way judges see and handle their civil cases.  In this session, you will learn why criminal cases affect how judges see and handle civil cases, how to improve your credibility with the judge, and how to better represent your client.

Panel:

  • Judge Joan Ericksen, U.S. District Court
  • Joe Friedberg, Joseph S Friedberg Chartered
  • Richard Kyle Jr., Fredrikson & Byron
  • Tom Nelson, Leonard Street and Deinard
  • Moderator: Judge Jay Quam, Hennepin County District Court

Thank you to Leonard Street and Deinard for hosting the reception that will follow the CLE.
