5.5 CLE credit applied for this program, including 3.0 Ethics and 2.5 Elimination of Bias credits.

The HCBA's Law & Literature CLE seminars provide a unique way to earn your ethics and elimination of bias CLE credits. Led by experienced facilitators, these popular CLE programs use short articles and works of fiction as a springboard for active discussions on legal ethics and bias. Stories will be sent to you once you register and must be read in advance.

Choose the morning program for the Ethics discussion, the afternoon session for Elimination of Bias, or sign up for a whole day and save on registration. Space is limited. No walk-in registrations accepted.

Ethics stories include: "The Winslow Boy” by Terrence Rattigan, and "About Boston” by Ward Just.

Elimination of Bias stories include: "Why Women Still Can’t Have it All” by Anne-Marie Slaughter, The Atlantic, and "A Jury of Her Peers” by Susan Keating Galspel.

Facilitators: Mary-Margaret Zindren, Executive Director of the Hennepin County Bar Association and Judge Laurie Miller, Hennepin County District Court
