5.5 CLE credit applied for this program, including 3.0 Ethics and 2.5 Elimination of Bias credits.

The HCBA's Law & Literature CLE seminars provide a unique way to earn your ethics and elimination of bias CLE credits. Led by experienced facilitators, these popular CLE programs use short articles and works of fiction as a springboard for active discussions on legal ethics and bias. Stories will be sent to you once you register and must be read in advance.

Choose the morning program for the Ethics discussion, the afternoon session for Elimination of Bias, or sign up for a whole day and save on registration. Space is limited. No walk-in registrations accepted.

Ethics stories include: "An Enemy of the Peopleā€ by Henrik Ibsen, and "The Senior Partner's Ethics" by Louis Auchincloss.

Elimination of Bias stories include: "Clybourne Park" by Bruce Norris and "Management of Grief" by Bharati Mukherjee.

Facilitators: Retired Judge Timothy Baland, Literature for Lifetime Learning, Judge Laurie Miller, Fourth Judicial District (morning session) and Hon. Edward Wahl, Fourth Judicial District (afternoon session)
