Redeveloping Historic Properties – Reflections on the Pillsbury A-Mill and Schmidt Brewery Rehabilitations

Join the HCBA Real Property Section for a lunchtime CLE focusing on historic property redevelopment and rehabilitation presented by Owen Metz of Dominium, a Minneapolis-based residential development company with extensive nationwide historic rehabilitation experience, and John Nolde of Winthrop & Weinstine, who represents developers and equity investors.  Owen and John worked together on two current high-profile Twin Cities historic rehabilitations, the Pillsbury A-Mill in Minneapolis and the Schmidt Brewery in St. Paul.  Together, they’ll share their experiences in this interesting and complex development area, and discuss challenges, lessons learned, and tax implications of these types of projects.

Featuring: Owen Metz, Developer, Development & Acquisitions, Dominium and John D. Nolde, Shareholder, Winthrop & Weinstine PA
