New Lawyers Gap Series: Becoming a Valuable Asset to Your Firm: Above and Beyond Just Being a Good Lawyer 1.0 CLE credit applied for this program.
The HCBA New Lawyers Section is proud to introduce the "Gap Series,” a new series of CLE programming. The New Lawyers Section recently surveyed a cross-section veteran attorneys in the Hennepin County legal community asking what they routinely see new lawyers lacking in terms of knowledge or skills. Based upon the responses received, the HCBA New Lawyers Section has designed a series of CLEs intended to fill in the "gaps” identified.
The first one-hour CLE in this series (free for HCBA members, as always!), entitled "Becoming a Valuable Asset to Your Firm: Above and Beyond Just Being a Good Lawyer” takes place September 15 at 12:00 p.m. at the HCBA offices.
The program will focus on the steps that new lawyers need to take to help build their firms and advance their careers, beyond being a proficient attorney. The following issues, among others, will be explored at this interactive program: Becoming valuable, creating your reputation, building relationships inside and outside your firm, acquiring and using knowledge to your advantage.
Join us for the "Gap Series” and find out what your boss wishes you knew.
