Labor and Employment: Women’s Economic Security Act: Understanding the Impact on Minnesota Employees and Employers

1.0 CLE credit applied for this program.

In the Spring of 2014, the Minnesota legislature enacted the Women’s Economic Security Act (WESA), creating new employee rights and employer obligations relating to women’s rights and protections for family caregivers in the workplace. Join us as Lisa Stratton of Gender Justice and Zeb Curtin from Cargill, both of whom were involved with the legislation, review these important changes.  They will discuss the issues that plaintiff’s, defense, and in-house counsel need to be aware of in order to effectively represent their clients in matters relating to this Act.

Featuring: Lisa Stratton, Gender Justice and Zeb Curtin, Cargill
