The HCBA's Law & Literature
CLE seminars provide a unique way to earn your ethics and elimination of
bias CLE credits. Led by experienced facilitators, these popular CLE
programs use short articles and works of fiction as a springboard for
active discussions on legal ethics and bias. Stories will be sent to you
once you register and must be read in advance.
Choose the morning program for the
Ethics discussion, the afternoon session for Elimination of Bias, or
sign up for a whole day and save on registration. Space is limited. No
walk-in registrations accepted.
Stories include:
A Man for All Seasons, Robert Bolt; The Rector of
Veilbye, Steen Steensen Blicher
Facilitators:
Retired Judge Timothy Baland, Literature for Lifetime Learning and Judge Edward Wahl, Hennepin County District Court
