1.0 CLE credit applied for.

Featuring: Megan Engelhardt, Senior Assistant Director, Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility

It is important to understand the Rules of Professional Responsibility and the common pitfalls of the family law practitioner.  Ethical issues arise in family court matters on a day to day basis.  Whether you have been in practice for one year or twenty years, join us and learn about the current and/or regular ethical questions that come before the Board of Professional Responsibility and how best to handle such situations.

Topics to include:

  • Ethical issues in working with self-represented parties.
  • What is the source of most complaints stemming from family law cases and how can we work to avoid these problem areas.
  • Working with chemical/mental health issues for both clients and colleagues.

At the Town & Country Club, 300 N Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul.

LUNCH IS INCLUDED.  NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FREE MEMBER CLE.  REGISTER BY FRIDAY, JUNE 17.
