WEBCAST | Technical Quandaries: New Challenges Imposed by the Rules of Professional Conduct

Many of the recent changes to the Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct directly address a lawyer’s use and understanding of legal technology – especially as it applies to a lawyer’s competence to practice law. Find out what duties are imposed on Minnesota lawyers concerning their understanding of technology, and how your current office systems may or may not comply with ethical rules. The program will examine the new basic level technology competence for lawyers, a lawyer’s duties and obligations when working with cloud technology, website disclaimers, raising the bar for email security, and much more.
