The CFPB's New Rule on Arbitration: What It Is and What Comes Next?

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recently issued a new rule prohibiting class action bans in some arbitration agreements. Even before it has been implemented, the CFPB rule has already generated significant debate, with the U.S. House voting along party lines to repeal the rule. Join experts from both the plaintiff and defense bar to discuss the CFPB rule, its implications, and what comes next for this fast-evolving topic.

This is the kick-off event for the HCBA Debtor-Creditor Section and will be held at the Nilan Johnson Lewis law firm.
