Webcast: Global Capitalism and Democracy: Are They Compatible?

The speakers will discuss their credentialed delegation to
observe and report on the November 24 national elections in Honduras. Before
the election they met with the U.S. Ambassador, the Carter Center, numerous
Honduran Attorneys General for anti-corruption and human rights, political
party representatives, judges, and Honduran activists for indigenous and human
rights. They will discuss the election in the context of global capitalism, a
right-wing coup in 2009 and a militarized one party state since then.
