You try to juggle work, family, outside organizations, and personal health—but can you really keep all these balls in the air?  And if not, what happens when one of them hits the ground?  Come hear tips and stories from three professional jugglers about how they (sometimes) manage to balance work, life, family, and everything else.

Featuring:

  • Sonia Miller-Van Oort is a litigator at the Sapientia Law Group.  Sonia has been practicing and balancing for 17 years, and has presented very well received programs on work/life balance for the HCBA in the past.
  • Mark Kalla, juggling for 30 years, is a partner at Barnes & Thornburg.  Mark spends a lot of his time volunteering in community service programs and is all too familiar with the challenge of balancing personal time against the demands of a successful career.
  • Amanda Schlitz is an associate at Stinson Leonard Street.  Amanda has been 80% time with Stinson Leonard since she gave birth to her first child and has a second on the way, and she commutes from Wisconsin on top of it!

All of our speakers have stories to share of both failures and triumphs while trying to make this tough juggling gig work.  Please join us in the discussion.
