You try to juggle work, family, outside organizations, and
personal health—but can you really keep all these balls in the air? And if not, what happens when one of them
hits the ground? Come hear tips and
stories from three professional jugglers about how they (sometimes) manage to
balance work, life, family, and everything else.
- Sonia Miller-Van Oort is a litigator at the Sapientia Law
Group. Sonia has been practicing and
balancing for 17 years, and has presented very well received programs on
work/life balance for the HCBA in the past.
- Mark Kalla, juggling for 30 years, is a partner at Barnes &
Thornburg. Mark spends a lot of his time
volunteering in community service programs and is all too familiar with the
challenge of balancing personal time against the demands of a successful
- Amanda Schlitz is an associate
at Stinson Leonard Street. Amanda has
been 80% time with Stinson Leonard since she gave birth to her first child and
has a second on the way, and she commutes from Wisconsin on top of it!
