Thomas Jensen Joins Leadership Track at Hennepin County Bar Association

Minneapolis (06-15-09): -- The Hennepin County Bar Association (HCBA) welcomes Thomas Jensen to membership on the Executive Committee for the 2009-10 bar year that begins July 1.  Jensen was elected to the association’s officer ranks as secretary, beginning a five-year leadership track that will have him serve as president for 2012-13. 

 

Jensen graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1978 and practiced in Duluth before returning to the Twin Cities.  In 1991, he and his partners opened the firm of Lind Jensen Sullivan & Peterson where he practices in civil defense litigation and insurance coverage matters. Jensen recently tried his 100th case to verdict.  He also serves as secretary of the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota, and is a member and former president of the Amdahl Inn of Court, an organization of lawyers and judges that encourages civility and professionalism within the legal profession. 

 

Jensen and his wife, Christine, live in Minnetonka.  She is a first grade teacher in the Hopkins school district.  They have three adult children who live in the Twin Cities.

The Hennepin County Bar Association is a professional society representing 8,400 area attorneys with a wide variety of services for the community and the profession.  The association  strives to ensure the fairness and accessibility of the legal system by promoting public understanding and confidence in our system of justice and by working along with the courts to improve the administration of justice.
