Compliance with Local Employment Law Ordinances in 2018: Paid Sick and Safe Leave and More

The Minneapolis and St. Paul Paid Sick and Safe Leave ordinances became effective July 1, 2017.  This one-hour CLE will focus on summarizing the requirements of the ordinances and city-issued guidance and legal developments related to the ordinances, providing practical strategies for updating and managing leave policies, and discussing the interplay of paid sick and safe leave with other federal and state laws.  The presenters also will discuss the trend of increasing local employment-related ordinances in Minnesota and other states across the country
