We will briefly discuss current statistics behind student loans, how they're a problem for many young Americans and the impact on the aging population as well (co-signors). We will discuss the standards established by the Courts in discharging private student loans in bankruptcy and contrast it with what it takes to get government student loans discharged under administrative procedures. Finally, we will give insights from both the debtors' and creditors' side on ways to resolve student loans, both public and private.
