Don't Get Schooled in Court: Litigating School Choice and Other Legal Custody Battles (or Not)
What happens when co-parents cannot agree about which school a child should attend? Or whether a child should be assessed for ADHD? What about when parents cannot agree about which church a child should attend, or whether to participate in certain religious rites or rituals? Issues that fall under the umbrella of "legal custody decisions" can be some of the thorniest and most vexing issues in family law. In this CLE, a seasoned family law attorney, a parenting consultant, and a neutral expert who addresses school choice matters will discuss their approaches to resolving difficult legal custody issues.
