WEBCAST | Local Regulation of Short-Term and Long-Term Rental Units

This program will address topics pertinent to municipal regulation of rental units. Topics discussed will include: ordinances and licensing of short-term (i.e. vacation rentals) versus long-term rental units; restrictions on rental units, including quantities within a jurisdiction; the statutory basis for regulation (e.g. zoning versus police power).  The presenters will provide examples of local approaches to regulatory concerns and relevant case law.
