WEBCAST | The Unique Development of Nonmarital Property Case Law and Tracing

This CLE will focus on how nonmarital property law has developed in Minnesota through case law to treat various types of nonmarital property claims differently.  The presentation will explore the way in which this treatment can result in dramatically different economic consequences and pose some questions:  1.  Is our nonmarital property law coherent?;  2. Is this result what the legislature intended?; and 3.  Should it be changed?
