Fake News, Twitter storms, and potential public relations nightmares are game changers. You’ll want to join us to hear from three media savvy and experienced crisis communication specialists that manage crises for firms like yours every day.
Valerie Martin is the founder of Alpha Agency and a veteran media relations, litigation communications, and critical messaging consultant. Mike Zipko is a principal at Velocity Public Affairs specializing in crisis communications, media relations, and high-stakes public affairs. Robb Leer is a former investigative reporter for KSTP-TV and owner of Leer Communication & Consultants, a firm specializing in time-sensitive media relations management, PR, and public affairs.
The team will help attorneys understand what to do and how to respond in a crisis scenario. This two-hour session will cover what every attorney needs to know before responding to the media. The workshop will also include mock interviews showing how -- and how not to -- handle media relations in a legal matter – when clients reputations are vulnerable.
Following the CLEs join us for a chance to network and further explore what was discussed in the programs. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
