Family Law: The Do's and Don'ts When Conducting Discovery in Family Law Cases

Please join the Hennepin County Bar Association Family Law Section on November 12, 2014 for the second session of our practice series: Discovery Issues. Lisa Spencer,  Zachary Kretchmer, and Katie Lammers will discuss discovery considerations in cases including formal vs. informal discovery; best practices for informal discovery; phone conferences with the court regarding discovery orders; obtaining protective orders from the court; and obtaining and using mental health records. 

Through the remainder of the season, we will have sessions on the following:

  • Trial Preparation for Case in Chief and Direct Examination of Client
  • Trial Preparation for Opposing Case and Cross Examination of Opposing Party
  • Expert Witnesses: Direct and Cross Examination
