CHILD SUPPORT MAGISTRATE: The Fourth Judicial District Court invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Child Support Magistrate. This is highly responsible professional legal work adjudicating expedited child support process cases. The Child Support Magistrate will be appointed by the chief judge of the Fourth Judicial District to preside over matters in the expedited child support process, is subject to confirmation by the Supreme Court, and will serve at the pleasure of the judges of the judicial district. Work assignments are carried out with a substantial degree of discretion and independent judgment within the framework of state laws and rules of procedure applicable to the expedited child support process.
