EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Neighborhood Justice Center is seeking an Executive Director. Neighborhood Justice Center is a legal service corporation that has been providing criminal defense services, with a focus on communities of color, since 1973. The Executive Director is the senior attorney in the office and carries a caseload. The Executive Director is responsible for agency administration including, but not limited to, the daily operation of the office, staff supervision, personnel decisions and attending communitymeetings. Finally, the executive director applies for funding. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors.Salary is based on experience and will be in the range of $60,000 to $80,000 along with benefits. Minimum Qualifications: law school graduate with at least 3 years of trial experience; licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota; in good standing with the Minnesota State Bar; and have an interest in indigent criminal defense. Previous administrative experience preferred and fluency in a second language is desired.
